HDMI Wireless RF Solutions
The DigiSender XD range utilises unique spread spectrum technology, allowing a 100% high integrity digital wireless video sender system. It provides extended range performance as well as HDMI through-pass on the Transmitter, RC5/6 compatible remote relay and includes the IR Systeme Technik remote relay kit.
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a proprietary audio/video interface for transferring uncompressed video data and compressed or uncompressed digital audio data from an HDMI-compliant source device, such as a display controller, to a compatible computer monitor, video projector, digital television, or digital audio device. It is a digital replacement for analogue video standards.
Traditionally, analogue video senders have been associated with Scart connectivity because the signal associated with the composite video signal is itself analogue. It has been replaced by HDMI which is a digital technology designed to handle the greater definitions required for a Full HD 1080 signal definition.
Using spread spectrum technology provides the most reliable wireless video sender transmission yet, as the DigiSender® XDHDMI series will work alongside Wi-Fi, Bluetooth devices, games controllers and many other wireless devices in your home. In some instances the WiFi router will need a restart for the two technologies to work together sharing the available spectrum.
The distance achieved between the transmitter and the receiver can surpass all other technologies because this series uses the lowest possible frequency available to us of 2.4Ghz allowing signals to travel as far as outbuildings and home extensions. Technology also exits that allows Video transmission to take place at frequencies up to 60Ghz but they fail to penetrate walls and ceilings making it an unsuitable choice for many applications.
